6. Black is better

Jadeite looks black, but when observed against a light source, it is actually dark green. The best quality ones are those with good water head and rich color. In the eyes of black jade lovers, black jade has a dark color, a magical aura, and the meaning of warding off evil and avoiding danger, so there are many details and theories about it. However, black jade is not currently the mainstream variety in the market.

As long as the color of jade meets the five characteristics of "rich, bright, positive, brilliant and uniform", it is the highest level and best among the same colors. As for colors of the same type but different levels, they cannot be accurately measured against colors of another type, which means that colors of different types are not comparable.
