The "ground" of jade refers to the part of jade other than color. A good piece of jade, in addition to good quality, also requires a "good ground" to complement the color. Jade with "good ground" has fine crystal grains, dense structure, few flaws and is clean.

Perfection

High-quality jade should not only have excellent quality, water color, but also be free of cracks, fissures, impurities and other colors, and have an appropriate weight and size. This kind of jade can be called high-quality jade and is worth buying.
