2. Listen to the sound recognition

Listening to the knocking sound can also help you initially identify whether jade is real or fake. This method is particularly effective for jadeite that is dyed purple. The purple dyed jadeite has a strong fluorescent reaction under ultraviolet light.

5. Identification by professional institutions

If you feel that your naked eyes are not accurate enough, some simple identification methods are not enough to help you judge the authenticity of the jade, whether the jade is dyed, injected with glue, etc. It is recommended that jade lovers go to professional testing agencies to use machines or some chemical reagents to help you identify the authenticity of jade.
