The inconspicuous jade scraps are carved by the jade carver.

This is a piece of jade scrap after the goods have been collected. The size of the material is very small, but the quality is good and the base is clean. After much consideration, the jade carver decided to make a small pendant of a flying goddess.

The black line below is the location where the flying goddess will be designed and carved. It is so small that it is a great test of the jade carver's skills. The face of the figure is very important, otherwise it will be a waste of material and labor.

The initial design of the work and the finished product after carving and polishing must be unimaginably beautiful.

The carving is completed and the general outline has been presented. I am still very satisfied with the overall sketch, except that some details need slight modifications. It is still a bit ugly at this time. The material is thick enough to make a deeper three-dimensional carving, so that the product effect can be achieved.

Once the finished product is presented, all is completed. The jade scraps of different sizes are so dazzling after polishing that it is hard to put it down. It is beautiful to a certain extent and you can see where the details have been modified.

The quality of the jadeite raw stone and the exquisite craftsmanship are displayed vividly. Not only can we marvel at the greatness of nature, but we also have to admire the ideas and craftsmanship of the jade carver.
