How are the purple grades of Emerald Violet differentiated?

Violet jade symbolizes eternal beauty, which is one of the reasons why many people like violet jade. Because according to legend, violets grew from the tears of the goddess Venus that fell to the ground; in addition, emerald violets symbolize dignity and mystery, status and identity; violets give people a hazy, mysterious and noble feeling. Violet jade is a precious species that combines beauty and value. The color of violet is relatively light, so we distinguish color grades according to the saturation and richness of the color of jade. There are five types of purple: royal purple, red purple, pink purple, blue purple, and violet.

Royal Purple: Royal Purple is the highest grade of jade purple and is a rich and pure purple; its color is very pure, with a relatively high saturation and medium brightness, giving people a sense of wealth, grace and beauty. This kind of purple is extremely rare, and even among purple jadeite, it is hard to find one in a hundred miles, so it has a high collection value.

Red purple: It is a purple color that tends to be jade red. Its color saturation is not high. The color of red purple jade is relatively light. It is not common in purple jade. Its collection value is also quite high.

Pink purple: It is a very light purple, with a reddish or bluish feel, but it does not reach the level of red purple or blue purple. Although its purple color is still quite obvious, its saturation is lower, so it is one of the lower value purple grades of violet jadeite.

Blue purple: also known as eggplant purple, is a purple jadeite with a blue tone; its saturation varies greatly, ranging from light blue purple to dark blue purple. It is the more common type of purple jadeite. Blue purple is a more beautiful purple jadeite, and the value of this type of jadeite also varies greatly.

Violet: It is the purest and most common purple jadeite, with the same color saturation as the violet flower; however, its color saturation is lower than royal purple. It is a standard purple and is medium in the jadeite purple grade. In addition, there is a rare and special type of violet jade. Sometimes purple and green appear together to form a "spring color" color. If the purple and green colors are distributed properly, it is still quite expensive.

Royal purple and red purple are high-end grades with higher collection value; blue purple is mid-range; while pink purple and violet are more common purple jadeite, and their value is not as high as royal purple and red purple.
