When gambling on stones, everyone wants to buy the best material with the least money, but the prices of those gambling stone mines that are worshipped as gods by stone gamblers are so high that people are discouraged. A piece of Moshisha with desanded material can cost tens of thousands or even millions; cement skin and bayberry skin from Laomuna with some desanded material can cost tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands; Mowanji black sand with color bands and pine flowers can cost hundreds of thousands or even millions if it is big... Moreover, the value of these stones with excellent performance may not necessarily increase in the end. Such high prices are really not affordable for ordinary jade lovers. Many jade lovers have raised this question: Is there no cost-effective jade gambling site where the price is not too high and there is a great chance of getting ice-type, colored materials or high-quality bracelets? Today I will tell you about several of the most cost-effective gambling stone venues today. The prices are generally within tens of thousands, and most are in the hundreds or thousands. The prices of the color and quality materials of these sites are much lower than those of the original stones of Laomoxisha, Laomowanji and Laomuna (the color materials here mainly refer to the full gambling materials), but the quality is not inferior to those high-quality original stones in the traditional market. — Nanqi — Before 2017, Nanqi gambling stones were rarely seen on the market. After 2017, due to increased mining efforts, they appeared in large quantities on the market. Nanqi is one of the most important venues in the small field. The Xiaochang area is located in the south of the Damakan area. Nanqi, as its name suggests, is located in the south of this mining area, to the left of Lake Endo, and belongs to the lower reaches of the Indao River, an ancient terraced river system. Therefore, the stones in Nanqi need to be transported from the riverbed, so the raw stones here are very small. There are three layers of ore in Nanqi: the first layer is yellow sand skin, the second layer is yellow-red sand skin, and the third layer is black sand skin. The stones of Yellow Sand Skin and Yellow-Red Sand Skin are mostly half mountain and half water stones, water stones, and their shapes are very similar to Damakan. The stones of Black Sand Skin are mostly water-turned sand, with thin skin, and most of them have wax shells, which are very similar to Houjiang and Huika. Sometimes there is fog, and the fog is mostly red and white. The characteristics of yellow sand skin and yellow-red sand skin are similar to those of Damakan. Most of them have yellow fog and red fog, and the water quality is relatively good. However, due to the high iron content in Nanqi gambling stones and sufficient water head, it will not have the red fog that turns black like ox blood red like Damakan. The red fog of Nanqi is not bright in color, but it is easy to penetrate, and the fog layer is relatively thick. Sometimes the entire piece of material is red jadeite. Moreover, like Damakan, Nanqi with yellow sand skin and yellow-red sand skin is prone to yellow and green jadeite. Jadeite with green stripes and yellow and green are typical high-value varieties of this mine. Jadeite with green stripes is mostly bluish green due to its high iron content; jadeite with yellow and green colors is rich in color and has a strong sense of layering. Next, we will focus on the third layer of black sand, because this is the most common Nanqi gambling stone on the market. Since the original stones are far away, they have to be transported before they can settle, so most of the outer skins are not turned over by sand, and it is easy to form a complete wax shell, and the sand skin will only appear under the wax shell. The black sand from other old fields is mostly sand-turned stones, which are not easy to form a complete wax shell. This performance is very similar to Huika, but the color of the wax shell is darker than that of Huika, and the appearance of the sand layer is closer to Houjiang. The most talked-about parts of this layer are the old pulpy skin and the white mist layer. Old pulp leather As the name suggests, people who have played with cultural relics know that it is a layer of "paste" on the surface of the object. This layer of "paste" is very firm and smooth. A good patina will also have a polishing effect. The same is true for the old pulp skin of gambling stones, which means that the skin is very tight, the sand is so fine that it is invisible to the naked eye, and the entire sand layer is smooth and bright, as if it had been slightly polished. Why does this phenomenon occur? The reason is that the sand is fine and tight. The sand is so fine that it is finer than flour. What is tight sand? It means high density. The flesh is like the sand skin, so the old pulp skin indicates that the jade inside is fine and has high density. There must be a white fog layer under the old pulp skin, but the white fog layer does not necessarily mean that it is old pulp skin material: Some of the rough sand skin will have a white fog layer underneath. The appearance of the white fog layer indicates that the material is old, has fine texture, and has glue. It is very likely that you will get icy jade with a gluey taste. Nanqi can be said to be the most cost-effective gambling stone on the market today! The reason is that it is of good quality and it is easy to produce ice and glass types. Since they are generally small, a single stone can only produce one or two pendants, so the price is relatively low; Secondly, Nanqi stones rarely show signs of sand removal, and do not directly show signs of ice quality. It all depends on the water quality, sand turning and fog layer, so the price will not be higher than the price of sand-removed materials; Furthermore, there is a feature that many experts know, the polishing effect of jadeite processed from Nanqi material is very good, second only to Moshisha and Muna, and higher than the quality of Houjiang material. But Nanqi also has a disadvantage, which is that it has many cracks. When Nanqi is transported in the river, it is easily cracked due to the large amount of impact and collision. However, the number and direction of cracks can be identified on the skin, so when buying Nanqi material, you need to observe the skin more. —Houjiang— Houjiang is located about 40 kilometers east of Kandi Town. Because the fields are distributed on the tributaries of Kandi River, it is named "Houjiang Stone". Houjiang field, as one of the six major fields, began mining in 1963 and is one of the earliest mining sites. There are more than a dozen mining sites of various sizes in the Houjiang area, and most of them are now basically unable to produce materials. The skin of the jadeite raw stone from Houjiang is gray-green in color. Its characteristic is that the individuals are generally small, mostly weighing tens or hundreds of grams. They are mainly water stones and look relatively round. The color of sand skin is yellow or gray, the jade is fine and often has a waxy shell. The reason why Houjiang is so popular is because of its “green” color. The gambling stones in Houjiang often produce "high green", which is second only to the imperial green of Lao Mu Na in quality, but the price is much lower than the color materials from Lao Mu Na in the original field. The water head and species are also very good, and the structure is relatively tight. Jade lovers must have heard the saying "nine out of ten Houjiang jades have water". The finished products made by Houjiang have very good results. Even if there are a few green or flowers, the color is still bright after polishing, which is the so-called "color reversal". Houjiang is different from other mines where people gamble on the color of their materials. Most of the old mines’ materials are afraid of the surface color. The surface color is the emerald green color floating on the surface of the material. The color has not penetrated into the flesh, so it is necessary to bet on the "python belt" color to make it easy to penetrate. However, this situation rarely occurs in Houjiang. Generally, when you shine a light on Houjiang material, you will see full color, with surface color rarely showing, and the chance of full color is very high. Although Houjiang is small in size, the probability of it being outstanding or full green is relatively high. The biggest defect of Houjiang mining area is that there are many cracks, which are caused by river transportation, just like Nanqi. Houjiang is small in size and has little sand-free material, so the price is relatively low. It is not as good as Nanqi in terms of water quality, but it is the king of cost-effectiveness in terms of color. The materials with good water content can be bought for a few hundred to a few thousand, and most of them are glutinous or above; the materials with full gambling color are about the size of a pendant, full color, bright green, and glutinous, and can be bought for tens of thousands. —Large white skin (yellow-white skin) material— Many jade lovers may be confused, what about large white materials? ! Isn’t it just new material? Yes, it is indeed new field material, but it is not the kind of new field material with tender skin and tender texture that has no skin or peels off and becomes sandy when touched. Instead, it is the Longken white skin material that has performance, no cracks or few cracks, and is large in size. Why emphasize Long Ken? Because jade friends who have learned about gambling on stones know that Longken is a large area, including Muna, Moshisha, Wengbale and other areas. The Longken white skin material mentioned here refers to the material in the Longken area, which includes the partial Muna and new white skin. So what kind of new materials should we buy? 1. Performance Expression refers to the expression of color or spring. The color is expressed as pine flowers or "python belts". The brighter the skin hue, the better. This is because the color materials in the Longken field have a characteristic, which is that the color is neither blue nor gray, but full of yellow, and the yellow positive green produced is very eye-catching. And as long as there is color on the skin, it is generally easy to get the color in. The proportion of spring material in Longken is very high, and most of the common violet jadeite on the market comes from this field. If signs of spring can be seen on the skin, the chances of there being spring inside are very high. The brighter the spring on the skin is when it is illuminated by light, the better, because the concentration of spring on the skin of white-skinned spring material is slightly higher than the concentration of spring in the jade flesh inside. If you don't want to cut it to death in the light, you should choose the one with bright spring on the skin when it is illuminated. 2. No cracks or few cracks, large size The number of cracks and the direction of the cracks can usually be seen on the skin. When choosing new Longken materials, you should look for those with few or no cracks and large size. Because only this kind of material can be used to make “bracelets”. Only if the bracelet is big, with no cracks or few cracks, will you have a chance to win. To sum up, the key to choosing Longken white skin or yellow and white skin material is that it has performance, is complete without cracks or has few cracks, and is large in size, so as to bet on full color or white base green or spring color bracelet. Then some jade lovers may ask: Can a bracelet with full color, white-based green, or spring color that never ages be valuable? In fact, jade lovers will understand the answer to this question by just going to the market. This type of bracelet is of high value and is very popular in the market. Some jade lovers have other questions: Can’t we bet on ice-type full-color, white-based green, or ice-spring bracelets? One thing I want to mention here is the issue of price. People buy this kind of material because it is "cheap" and ordinary people can afford it. If you want to bet on an ice-type full-color bracelet, an ice-type white-bottom green bracelet, or an ice-spring bracelet, let alone spending thousands or tens of thousands to buy it, you may not even be able to get a jadeite raw stone worth over a million. As a jade gambler, if you always hold the mentality of spending a few thousand dollars to gamble for millions or tens of millions of jade, then you'd better not step into this circle. Even if you really have such luck and opportunity, it is not as cost-effective as spending two dollars to buy a lottery ticket. Regarding buying Longken white skin material to make bracelets, many jade lovers may not agree with this view, but in fact, many of the bracelet materials we usually see and buy are actually cut from this material. Jade lovers who have the conditions can go to Mandalay, Myanmar to check out the market for bracelet materials. You will be surprised to find that many of these materials come from Longken Xinchang. Even the clear material bracelets sold in China today, many are from Longken New Market. As long as they are not porcelain white in base, the quality is still not low and the market price is generally high. And even if it is a new venue, it doesn’t mean that you will not be able to bet on ice type, it’s just that the probability is lower. In today's jadeite raw stone market, it is extremely unlikely to buy old material that can be used to make bracelets. Even if available, the price is definitely beyond the reach of ordinary jade lovers. Especially for the kind of bracelet material that can be guaranteed to bet on ice-type full color, floating green, and ice spring, which generally do not appear in the jade market that we can go to at any time. If you want to buy, you can only enter the owner’s store through an acquaintance and then pass the capital verification before you can see it; or you can go to Myanmar, pay a deposit of 500,000 euros, and enter the public auction to view it. It can be seen that high-end jadeite requires financial strength, and even just taking a look at it requires money. A piece of Longken white skin material can cost at least a few hundred yuan or at most a few thousand yuan. If it can cost over ten thousand yuan, it is already very good. The price is very affordable. Based on my personal experience in stone cutting, you will basically not lose money if you cut such material as long as you can make a bracelet.
