You don’t know this when you want to buy jade? Guide you to choose jadeite in minutes

A large proportion of the treasure owners I come into contact with every day either buy expensive ones or fake ones. Jade, as a product of nature, has been popular since the Qing Dynasty. With the development of society, many people choose jade when selecting jewelry or investing. Today, the editor has compiled how, as a novice, you should choose suitable jade and stay away from buying fake and expensive jade!

The first step is to think

Before deciding to buy jade, first think about the general purchase direction and budget. If you value appreciation and investment value, then you will definitely save more money in your budget to purchase high-quality products. If you value decorative value more, and it doesn't matter whether it appreciates or not, then you can buy one that suits your budget, is of good quality, and suits your taste, and has a style that suits you.

The second trick is to look

What you need to look at is the foundation: the type, water, gloss, and clarity. Also, when choosing jadeite, you must look at it more. When choosing jadeite, you will hear many people say "buy less and look more". It is better to choose and compare more before buying, rather than regret not looking at it more after buying.

1. Seed

It refers to the texture of jade, meaning the fineness of jade's internal structure. The fewer crystals it has and the higher its transparency, the better it is and the higher its price.

2. Water

It refers to the transparency of jade. The finer the internal structure and texture, the better the water content. Jadeite with good water head has high transparency, while jadeite with poor water head has low transparency. If the color is too dark, it will also affect the transparency.

3. Gloss

If the quality of jade is very good, its internal structure will be very tight, and the surface gloss of jade will be very good.

Generally speaking, the luster of jade is divided into two factors: the glass luster formed by the high polishing of the jade surface; the finer the polishing, the better the gloss; and the jade quality inside the jade; the higher the transparency and clarity, the better the gloss.

4. Clarity

There should be as few impurities as possible such as white cotton, black spots, gray threads, etc. in jade. The fewer impurities, the higher the clarity and the better the bottom.

5. Color

The most common colours of jadeite are yellow, red, green and purple. Of the same quality, green jade is the most valuable, but high-quality jade with excellent quality, such as red, violet or even colorless, is also very rare and valuable.

Color is one of the most important criteria for judging jadeite. There is a saying about jadeite: If the color is 10% higher, the price will be ten times higher. The brighter and richer the color of the jade, the higher the quality of the jade and the higher the price.

The third trick is to know

Identification of A, B, C, and B+C goods

Grade A: refers to pure natural jade that has never been artificially processed.

B-grade jade refers to jade that has been acid-soaked, bleached, and filled with glue during the processing process.

C-grade jade refers to jade that has been dyed.

B+C goods: refers to jade that has been acid-washed, filled with glue and dyed.

Therefore, when purchasing jadeite, you must identify whether it is A-grade jadeite, which is the real jadeite.

Another important point is to look at the certificate, look at the certificate, look at the certificate. I say it three times because it is important. The most eye-catching marks on the jade certificate are the three English abbreviations "CMA", "CAL" or "CNAL". The certificate styles of different testing centers are different, and any of the above three marks is valid.

Editor's tip: Be sure to look around more when buying jadeite. Before you buy it, remember to review it so that you don't make any mistakes.
