The Guanyin statue carved from ice-blue jadeite is solemn and majestic.

According to the needs, the jade carving master modified the shape of the material to facilitate the composition of the Guanyin statue. The composition of the Guanyin statue uses a very traditional method, which mainly focuses on maintaining the left-right symmetry of the statue and making the facial features look solemn and dignified!

The carving is done using a combination of high relief and round carving techniques. The Guanyin statue not only has to have the smooth surface of the face smoothed, but also has to have the facial features, hair and headdresses carved delicately to create a solemn appearance!

After carving out the face of Guanyin, the hair is then carved out, and the carving of the raw material is completed. The carving master used his superb craftsmanship to carve Guanyin into a delicate and lifelike figure, with precise structural proportions, distinct hair strands, and exquisite headdress. She wears a veil at the back. There is also a seated Buddha carved on Guanyin’s headdress, which means that there is Buddha in the Buddha’s heart!
