The jadeite I would like to introduce to you is full of green color, but it is not valuable. It is Tielongsheng. Tielongsheng Jade Tielong is produced in Longken Mining Area, one of the eight major mining areas in Myanmar. The quality of Tielong produced in Longken is not high, but the output is large. Now a large amount of ore is still mined every year. Another important production area of Tielongsheng is Hpakant. The Tielongsheng produced in Hpakant has skin, bright color, long water content, small defects and small ore body. The Burmese word "Tielongsheng" also means full of green. The characteristic of Tielongsheng is that the emerald green color is very bright, but the overall transparency is very poor, the texture is relatively soft, and the light transmittance and hardness are relatively poor, so the overall price is relatively low. However, due to the differences in jadeite's type and water content, the price fluctuations are quite large. Even Tielongsheng is divided into different grades. The first-grade Tielongsheng is the best among the Tielongsheng jadeite. It is pure green in color and has very good water quality. It is often used to make decorations. It has high ornamental and practical value and is popular in the market. Mid-range Tielongsheng jade is relatively delicate, but its water quality and transparency are very poor, far from the quality of first-grade Tielongsheng. The worst Tielongsheng jadeite is black-green in color, uneven color distribution, and very coarse crystal grains, which can only reach the level of bean-type jadeite. Such Tielongsheng jadeite often has more impurities and needs to be acid-washed to remove the impurities. Such Tielongsheng jade is suitable for pendants or bracelet beads with simple shapes and carvings, such as Lulutong and Lingguan. In addition, Tielongsheng is often used to make pendants such as thin leaves and thin water butterflies, with better effects; some are used to make carved beads, carved bracelets and other full-green jade pieces. "Tielongsheng" is rich green, but the decorations made from it are very thin, often called "Guangpian" by people. The thickness is usually less than 3mm, and many are even around 1mm. Because the thickness is too low, this kind of material has a fatal flaw - it is fragile! Look at this, the lower half of the leaf has been broken into pieces, and when you pick up the fragments, you can see only a thin layer! At this point, I believe many people have realized that the leaf pendants are made from thinned iron sheets! Although the price of Tielongsheng is far less than that of full green jadeite, its low price and beautiful appearance make it very cost-effective.
