How to choose good jadeite?

1. Jade has two basic indicators: one is color, and the other is type. As the saying goes, "experts look at the quality, laymen look at the color." Jadeite with good quality is pleasing to the eye even if it is colorless. Jadeite with color but no quality, such as dry green, is not valuable.

2. Colors include colorless, green, purple, yellow, and combined colors. The beauty lies in rich, bright, pretty, correct and harmonious colors, that is, rich colors, bright and vivid, highly saturated, pure and without color cast, and uniform colors.

Common green colors include imperial green, sun green, yellow sun green, apple green, light green, blue-green, and oily green. There are slight variations between each color. The price difference for one color difference is ten times.
