83 Jade

People discovered a new kind of jade in 1983. It is somewhat similar to the original jade, but not exactly the same. On the surface, the color of the 83 jade is milky white, grayish white, and light green with a hint of green. At first glance, it is somewhat similar to floating flowers.

In fact, its internal structure is very loose, the grains are very coarse, the specific gravity is low, and there are natural hidden cracks. It looks rough and has no ornamental value. Therefore, people call it 83 jadeite or 83 jade to distinguish it.

What's even more embarrassing is that many people not only think that 83 jade is a low-grade jade, but also mistake it for B-grade jade. Because its structure is not dense and it sounds dull when knocked, it is too similar to the characteristics of B-grade jade, and many people will be confused.
