What types of jade are there? Just take a look at these jades!

Dragon Stone Jade

Longshi jade is the top grade variety of jade. The base does not absorb the color, and the color does not absorb the base. It has no cotton texture or impurities. It is as smooth and delicate as silk, extremely warm, and emits fluorescence.

Hibiscus Jade

Hibiscus jade is as soft, delicate, pure and clear as a hibiscus flower emerging from the water. The quality of this kind of jade is worse than that of ice jade, and its light transmittance is poorer. The color is light green, and the green tone is relatively pure. The overall feeling is elegant and graceful, which makes people feel very warm.

Lotus root powder jade

The visual effect of lotus root powder is very good, like lotus root powder that has been cooked with boiling water, hence the name. Lotus root powder jade has a delicate texture and a light pink purple (light spring color).

Gold thread jadeite

The golden thread type refers to the jadeite whose color is distributed in thread-like forms and arranged in parallel along a certain direction. The strips can be thick or thin. The thicker the color stripes are, the larger the area they occupy, and the brighter the color is, the higher the value.

Glass Jade

Glass jade has the highest transparency, like glass, with fine jade quality, relatively pure, very few impurities, and also has cotton (usually in the form of dots or flocs). It has colors such as blue, green, and white. It is the most valuable jade and suitable for collection and investment.

Ice Jade

Ice jade is second only to glass jade in texture and transparency. It looks like melted ice and is translucent jade. If the ice-type jade has green or blue flowers, it is called "ice-type floating flower jade" in the industry; if it has no color, it is called "white ice".

The transparency of Ice-Nutty Jade is not as good as that of Ice-Nutty Jade, it is between transparent and opaque, just like cooked glutinous rice soup, but the concentration is not high.

Waxy jadeite

The crystals of glutinous jade are coarse and loose, and the interior is relatively turbid, like the highly concentrated glutinous rice soup in the picture above. Its transparency is also much lower than that of ice type and glutinous ice type.
