Some jade materials are of superior quality, reaching ice grade or above, and have no obvious flaws. Such materials are generally not used to make landscapes, unless the owner of the material requests a landscape theme. This kind of material is mostly used to make landscapes, and it is also the material that landscape jade carvers prefer. The colorless parts of the water can be designed into poets, flowing water, or more likely into lake surfaces, which gives jade carvers a lot of room for imagination; the color bands can be designed into mountains or trees. Making full use of such elements can greatly increase the value of the finished product.

The material is colorful but has many cracks. Such material is usually designed into landscape or dragon plaques. The rich thematic elements of landscape pendants are the best way to avoid cracks in the material. Using mountains to avoid cracks, using stones to avoid cracks, using flowing water to avoid cracks, using pine trees to avoid cracks... these are the most commonly used methods by landscape jade carvers.
