Hue classification: In the spectrum of visible light, the left and right grades of green are blue and yellow, so the color of high-end jade (green) is often accompanied by blue and yellow tones in addition to true green. Jade (green) tones are divided into three types: green, green (slightly blue), and green (slightly yellow). Whether it is yellowish or bluish will affect the value of jade.

Chroma grading: Chroma is what people usually call color saturation, also known as concentration. The saturation of jadeite is divided into five levels according to the degree of color intensity: very intense, intense, relatively intense, relatively lighter, and light. The lighter the color, the cheaper it is, and the darker the color, the more valuable it is.

Brightness grading: Brightness refers to the degree of lightness and darkness of jadeite's color, commonly known as the "yang" in "nong zheng yang he". Jade is divided into four levels according to its brightness: bright, brighter, darker, and dark. The brighter the jade, the more expensive it is, and the duller it is, the cheaper it is.
