Comparison photos of grade A and grade B jadeite. How to identify grade A jadeite?

It is a consensus among every consumer that when buying jadeite, you must buy A-grade jadeite. Grade A jade means that jade comes from nature and has not been artificially processed or beautified. Its beauty is more natural, harmless, and its value is higher. However, the jade market today is full of mixed fish and dragons. How can we distinguish between grade A jade and grade B jade? What are the ways to distinguish them?

If you want to correctly distinguish A-grade jade from other processed jade, you must first know the common types and characteristics of processed jade. For example, the B-grade jadeite commonly mentioned in the market is the "bleached goods" that have been soaked and washed by strong acid. Although this kind of B-grade jadeite has washed away the impurities in the jadeite, it also makes the structure of the jadeite rough and loose, and loses the texture of natural jadeite. C-grade jadeite is jadeite that has been artificially dyed. Although its color is rich, most of them are too rich and lack natural charm, and they do not have the agility of natural jadeite.

However, Grade A jadeite is different. As naturally generated jadeite that has only been polished and carved, Grade A jadeite has natural color and freehand texture. Combined with the natural jade texture, it appears to be very spiritual and textured. This is incomparable to the rough structure of B-grade jadeite and the stiff and rigid C-grade jadeite. If we compare the bracelets, we can find the clues.

Of course, when selecting A-grade jadeite, we can also pay attention to identification. If the structure of the jadeite is obviously rough, the color is not natural enough, or the luster is too bright or too dark, then the jadeite is likely to have problems. In addition, if we see acid-etched grids in the jade (a typical feature of B-grade jade), or small clusters of jade color (large amounts of pigments accumulate in the loose points of the jade), etc., then such jade is definitely not A-grade jade.
