A beautiful lady used the jadeite rough stone she bought back from her trip to Myanmar to carve out a domineering yellow jade dragon king!

There is an ancient saying that "When a dragon fights in the wild, its blood is dark yellow", which means that when a dragon fights, its blood is yellow. The monarch is symbolized by the dragon, so the color yellow has a more direct connection with the monarch.

In this way, yellow symbolizes the divine right of kings and their inviolability. In the Zhou Dynasty, the yellow axe was a symbol of the emperor's power. After the Sui Dynasty, the emperor had to wear a yellow dragon robe, and yellow became the exclusive color of the monarch.

This piece of material comes from a relatively large piece of yellow jadeite. This piece is the best quality one among them. It has some old parts and some bright yellow parts. So we chose it to make a Dragon King pendant, and took the material and made the embryo based on the perfect place.

After the material is prepared, draw a sketch of the Yellow Dragon.

The outline is roughly revealed.

The carving is completed, but not polished yet. Looking forward to the final result!

Fine workmanship is where the skills of a sculptor are tested.

Personally, I like yellow jade and red jade very much. They can bring out the sculptor's surprisingly creative designs, especially when making dragons and beasts, which can show their majestic power and domineering nature.
