The real reason why jade turns black after being worn for a long time is that the jade purchased by the wearer is not natural A-grade jade, but B+C grade jade that has undergone "optimization" processing. B+C goods are bleached and soaked in strong acid, then filled with glue and wax, and artificially dyed. These colored resins injected into jade will age over time, causing the color of the jade to become turbid. Yellowing, blackening, and graying are relatively common phenomena and have nothing to do with the wearer's health. In other words, if you buy non-natural A-grade jadeite, even if you don't wear it and leave it alone, it will remain like this over time.
