Color is the most direct response to a product, and bright colors can attract people's attention.

According to the origin of color, jadeite is divided into primary colors and secondary colors. Except for the red and yellow series, all others are primary colors. The most common jade color is green. The best green is called "Imperial Green" in the industry, and the best purple is "Royal Purple", which are all evaluations of color. First of all, it is naturally green. Green jade is also called green jadeite. Green jadeite is because Cr+ replaces A1+. The more it replaces, the deeper the green. Green jadeite represents emerald: it is a deep and rich green without any yellow, with good transparency, and is elegant and solemn.

In addition to green, purple is one of the more common colors of jadeite. There is a saying that "red, green, and purple jadeite are the most valuable." Purple jade can be divided into the following categories:

Royal Purple: Similar to Imperial Green among greens, but rarer than Imperial Green, Royal Purple is the most valuable color in the emerald violet purple grade. Its color is pure, rich and bright, with high saturation and brightness, giving a feeling of elegance, luxury and atmosphere.

Reddish purple: Reddish purple is purple jade with a reddish hue. It is generally not highly saturated and is also very rare.

Bluish-purple: Also called eggplant purple jade, it is a purple jade with a blue tone. It is a more common purple jade, and its color saturation varies greatly.

Pink purple: It is a lighter purple that may have a reddish or bluish feel, but it does not reach the level of red purple or blue purple. It is a more common color among purples.

Violet: The most common color in purple jadeite. Its color is pure, but lower in saturation than royal purple. It is the standard color in purple jadeite and a mid-range color in the jadeite violet purple grade.

White jade is roughly divided into two types: transparent and opaque. The transparent one is colorless, composed of pure jadeite, with a dense structure, delicate jade quality and no visible structure. The opaque one is composed of a single jadeite, may have some impurities, and has a loose and rough structure.

Colorless: generally called white ice and above, with good transparency and visible cotton wool inside some parts.

White: Also called "white jadeite", there may be some mineral impurities or variegated colors inside, it is a medium to low-grade jadeite, translucent to opaque

Yellow jade is divided into yellow jade and jade yellow

Yellow jadeite: Also known as "golden jadeite", it is mainly brown-red, containing some yellow tones. It is orange or honey color, crystal clear and translucent, and is the best grade of yellow jadeite.

Jadeite yellow: Jadeite is mainly yellow in color, containing some gray-brown tones, which is subdivided into chicken oil yellow, chestnut yellow, lemon yellow, etc.

Chicken-oil yellow: As the name suggests, its color is as shiny and lustrous as chicken oil. It is the best quality yellow jadeite and is relatively rare.

Chestnut Yellow: As bright yellow as chestnut, translucent to opaque.

Lemon yellow: bright yellow like lemon, lively.

Red jade represents good luck and good fortune, and is also called red skin or red fog. Cockscomb red is the best variety of red jadeite, with bright color, fine texture, and bright red color like a cockscomb. In addition, there are red, light red, reddish brown, and brown.

Black jade is also known as black jadeite: under transmitted light, black jadeite appears green. This is a type of jade that has only been widely accepted in recent years. The black color is said to ward off evil spirits and protect the body, so it is often carved into Guanyin, Buddha, Zhong Kui, etc. Black chicken: The surface is black and opaque.
