Black: The abbreviation for the black part of jade, including "black spots", "black silk", "dirty", "black bumps", "black belts", "black nails" and so on. Skin: The weathered layer on the outside of jade, which was called "Pu" in ancient my country. Cracks: Cracks and cracks in jade caused by various reasons. Dirty: Dirty color, impurities or inclusions in the green color of jadeite. Wilted: An adjective describing the green color of jade, meaning the color is dull and lacks vitality. Sharp: An adjective that describes the green color of jadeite, meaning that the color is extremely bright and beautiful. Yan: An adjective used to describe the shade of jade green, implying rich color and abundant water content. Porcelain: An adjective describing the green color of emerald green, implying stagnation and lack of spirit. Robe: The concentric red layers on the outer layer of the jade raw material, which is called red jade. Jade in this condition is called "wearing robe". Fog: Concentric white or gray impregnation layers on the outer layer of jade raw material, also known as "skin wrapped in water". Water wrapped in skin: also called water invasion or dry heart, white heart. Its characteristic is that after the jade ore body is eroded, a dark gray color invades the entire jade from the outside to the inside. The invaded part appears to have better transparency and color, but the inside is still relatively dry and white. Tianxian: The literal meaning is easy to understand, that is, the picture is very beautiful and fantastic, and after PS color adjustment, etc., it is very different from the real thing. This is usually said after being cheated. Taking medicine: This word is mentioned in all categories of antiques, and it means being cheated. In the jade industry, it specifically refers to buying fakes or paying too high a price. Small three, medium three, large three, small four, medium four... : Don't get the wrong idea, here it refers to the price, 1-3 is small, 3-6 is medium, 7-9 is large, and three refers to three-digit numbers, four is four-digit numbers, and so on. Small three means 100-300, and so on. No bargaining: It means no bargaining. This is used too many times, so I won’t talk about it anymore. Short price, floor price: There are these two too, the first one means inquiry, and the second one means the lowest price. Male flowers and female flowers: Male flowers are blue flowers, female flowers are green flowers, referring to the floating flowers of jadeite. Thick pile: It means the thickness is large, generally more than 10mm. It is mostly used as pendants. The size has an important influence on the value of jadeite. Reflection: It refers to the degree of coordination between the color and water quality of jadeite. A good reflection is called "spiritual", which means that the jadeite has a delicate structure, bright color, good hand, uniform tone and high value. A bad reflection can be called "dead". Water head - the transparency of jade, often measured by its length and quality. Sign material: Block material for making sign pendants Bracelet material: Block material used to make bracelets Bracelet core material: The inner material of the bracelet. Generally, only good jadeite is used as the core material of the bracelet. It is used as a waist hanging piece. Carving material: Jade blocks used for carving; relief, high relief, medium relief, shallow relief (i.e. thin relief), round carving, hollow carving, combined with carving Head: The transparency of the water-gray texture of jadeite. High green without water is definitely not as good as jade with water.
