Is jadeite with cotton necessarily inferior? Good jade will melt after wearing for a long time. Is this true?

I wonder if my friends will come across someone saying when they go to buy jadeite that the cotton in good jadeite will dissolve by itself after wearing it for a long time.

As shown in the picture, the white mineral deposits in the form of clumps, filaments, flakes, or dots are "cotton". Many people say cotton equals impurities. Since foreign matter can enter the internal structure, does that mean it’s a bad thing?

The answer is no. It has taken tens of thousands of years to accumulate such a small amount of cotton. This does not mean that the structure is loose, nor does it mean that those with cotton are inferior.

Will the cotton inside the good jade melt away by itself when you wear it? It is possible. It's just a matter of time. Moreover, I have to say more, as the saying goes, there is no jade without cotton. Even glass-type stones exist, but they are so small that we cannot see them directly with our naked eyes.

Therefore, we cannot say that jade with cotton is inferior jade, nor can we say that the cotton in good jade will dissolve on its own over time.
