Today I would like to share a piece of ice-type jadeite with clear green flowers. This is one of the leftover materials left after the owner took the bracelet. The piece is crystal clear. But from the raw material, it may not be very attractive. It looks like it has good water quality and floating colors. When you meet a jade carving master, the delivery effect is beyond your imagination. Let's continue to look down... Green represents life, vitality and aura, so what kind of subject would be good-looking to carve? The owner is racking his brains to think of it. Many jade lovers may think of a landscape pendant first, but the owner does not think so. He carved a figure and made it into a Vairocana Buddha. But there are patterns on the top and bottom of the material, so the face of the carved figure would have patterns on it. So I asked the sculptor to come up with a design plan with a try-it attitude. When the jade carver gets the material, he reads the material, examines the stone, and then begins to design the draft. It is a very difficult beginning. Especially for materials that are difficult to make, jade carvers often have to spend several days or even months designing and sketching the materials. They need to constantly ponder their ideas and avoid the risk of defects in the raw materials before they can draw a design that best matches the original stone. At the same time, several plans have to be come up with, so you can imagine how difficult it is. The jade carver came up with three design plans for the supplier to refer to and choose from. If the owner is sure of one, he will start work on it. If he is not sure, the plan will have to be redesigned. The jade carver brought his design and painting skills to full fruition. The owner liked all three design plans, and finally he followed the jade carver's advice and chose the most ideal design plan. After the plan is finalized, the jade carver has to transfer the pattern from the design draft to the jade material, which can be considered the real beginning. A good start is half the success. Carving is a very delicate and tedious process, which is a double test of technology and aesthetics. The jade carver gives jade soul and life, and pours in his/her hard work to ultimately determine the quality and value of the jade work. Each design is well thought out, so whether the work has life depends on the carver's carving technique. This sculpture is based on the "Mahavairocana Tathagata", and the overall outline has gradually emerged under the master's hands! It only needs some minor trimming and polishing. Fine-tuning is a very slow and long process that tests the patience and carefulness of the jade carver. The success or failure of a good work often lies in the tiny details. Finally, only the face carving is left, and when everything is done, it can be polished. But judging from the rough version, it is already very beautiful even without polishing, and it is very sticky, like jelly. The jade carver has strong skills and is able to lift the water very well, making the figures stand out. After polishing, the works have excellent artistic conception, vivid expressions, smooth and beautiful textures, giving people a strong visual impact. It is very beautiful no matter from which angle you look at it, with 365 degrees of perfection, and it also has a strong Zen atmosphere that makes people feel peaceful. Vairocana Tathagata is the supreme deity of Tantric Buddhism, the highest level of Buddha in Tantric Buddhism, and the highest god revered by Tantric Buddhism. All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in Tantric Buddhism are derived from Vairocana Tathagata. In the two mandalas of Vajrayana and Garbha-dhatu, Vairocana Tathagata occupies the central position. He commands all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. He is the fundamental Buddha of the world of Tantric Buddhism.
