There are three "brothers" in jade with very similar names, namely, Oily Green Jade, Flower Green Jade, and Dry Green Jade. Don’t be fooled by their similar names, they look different!

The base color of Huaqing jadeite is green or colorless. The color varies in depth, sometimes sparse and sometimes dense, and the green is mostly a bluish hue with a more "flowery" distribution. The biggest difference between it and dry green and oily green is the uneven green. Some are denser, some are more sparse, and the colors are white, black, dark, and light. The Huaqing variety belongs to the medium and low-grade jadeite, most of which is used to make ornaments and pendants.

Ganqing jadeite is usually full green with uneven distribution, often accompanied by black spots, black lines, and black blocks. The jadeite crystal particles are large and the light transmittance is very poor. It is usually classified as mid- to low-end jadeite. Because of its green color, it is loved by people and is often used to make thinner jewelry. Because the color of Ganqing jade is very rich, many people still like this kind of jade. However, because the content of jadeite in Ganqing jade is very low, its overall price will be very low.

The color tone of Oily Green Jade tends to be dark series, among which the gray tone appears darker and has a gray and evil feeling. This color does not seem to have much direct connection with green. The color tends to be more "gray" or "gray-black". Some Oily Green Jade has some blue components mixed in the gray.

Oil green jade can be divided into three grades: high, medium and low. Among them, high-grade Oil green jade is quite rare. Its color is very uniform, the transparency is very good, and there is a certain fluorescence of Oil green jade. Although the color of such Oil green jade belongs to the gray tone, the tone does not have a gray and dull feeling, but reveals masculinity and righteousness in the gray. The price of such Oil green jade is relatively high or very high.

Finally, the quality of the three types of jade, namely, Huaqing, Ganqing and Youqing, also varies, so the prices in the market are also different. The specific prices should be judged based on the type, water, color and workmanship. Don't generalize.
