What we usually see are flawless fine jade bracelets. But how are these exquisite products made? A few days ago, I explored it for my friends and shared it with you. Step 1: Polish the Stone Wipe a hole on the surface of the original stone to make it easier to observe the inside with a special flashlight to determine whether there is green, as well as the depth, width and concentration of the green. The merchants will then judge whether the raw stone can be made into bracelets based on the cracks in the stone, and only then consider pendants, ring faces, and beads. A bracelet can be said to be the essence of a raw stone. The area of the raw stone that can make a bracelet must be able to reach the position where a bracelet can be made. It can be said that jade raw stones that can be made into bracelets are all perfect. Step 2: Start slicing After having a preliminary understanding of the raw stone, you need to cut the raw stone and then slice it. After cutting, the merchant needs to determine whether the bracelet is being sold for its color or water quality. Although this step is judged only by the merchant's existing experience, it is crucial. It not only determines the performance of the bracelet, but also determines the merchant's subsequent transactions and income. Step 3: Draw the bracelet print After the raw materials are sliced, the merchants decide the size of the bracelet based on the cracks, size, and color distribution of the raw materials, as well as how to optimize the type and color of the bracelet and maximize the output. This step requires merchants to have a thorough understanding of market conditions. Not only do they need to know prices, but they also need to observe and study sellers’ preferences. This is also a huge test for merchants. Step 4: Absorb the ectoembryo Place the jade piece with the bracelet position drawn on it on a special diamond brick lathe, match the corresponding bricks directly according to the outer ring, and then use the downward pressure brick suction to suck out the entire bracelet, which is called outer embryo suction in the industry. Step 5: Verify the bracelet cake After sucking out the outer embryo of the bracelet, the merchant needs to check whether there are impurities, color changes, and cracks caused by the processing process. After the inspection is completed, you can proceed to the next step Step 6: Sucking the Endoderma According to the inner diameter of the bracelet, select the corresponding drill bit, and then use the downward pressure drill to suck out the inner ring. The inner part is called sucking out the inner embryo, and the middle part sucked out is the core of the bracelet. After this step, you can get a rough bracelet When sucking out the ectomorpha and endomorpha, try to keep the jade slab moist, otherwise the jade will easily crack. Step 7: Top and side Topping is to remove the defects and cracks of the rough piece, and edging is to remove the edges and corners of the bracelet and grind it into a smooth state. Step 8: Punching The rough bracelet is ground into shape according to needs. The curvature angles of round bracelets and flat bracelets are different, so the angle and strength when punching the blank are also different. Hand punching is suitable for high-end bracelets, while punching by a molding machine is suitable for mid- and low-end bracelets. Step 9: Polishing Grind the marks on the rough bracelet blank into a smooth surface and completely shape it from the inside out. Step 10: Polishing Polish the bracelet with the polished number several times until the bracelet reaches the desired brightness. What we usually see are perfect bracelets, but behind this there are more than a dozen processes, and a lot of material is worn away step by step, and there is no way to use the scraps. At the same time, this is also a huge test for the merchant's experience and the processor's skills. If something goes wrong in one step, all the previous efforts will be wasted. After reading about the complicated processing process of these jade bracelets, I finally understood why jade bracelets cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the best ones cost over 100 million.
