The Three Holy Ones of the West are also known as the Three Amitabha Buddhas. The white and smooth one in the middle is Amitabha Buddha, the fresh and elegant one on the left is Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the one on the right with golden light is Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva. They are the objects of worship in the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism. Amitabha represents infinite light, infinite life, and infinite merits. Guanyin Bodhisattva is the embodiment of compassion, and with her compassionate heart she saves all suffering beings. The Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta represents joy and generosity, possesses great wisdom, and is the one who seeks Bodhi.
