Jade can be divided into red jade and yellow jade. The different color characteristics are used to carve works with different meanings and symbols. Therefore, jadeite is very popular.

What's different about this piece of material from the previous ones is that this piece had been completely peeled when it was bought, leaving only red fog. Theoretically speaking, it is now in a completely bright state. Relatively speaking, there is basically no gambling on this kind of material. Ajun recorded the entire process from stubborn stone to unpolished jade, and today he would like to share it with you.

After cutting the material, I found that the fog color was very thick and the texture was similar to what I expected. White meat was wrapped in the red fog. When the material was cut, it was a bit asymmetrical and a bit wasted, which was a pity. Thick fog is jade, thin fog is fog. Materials with thick matte texture provide more room for use when carving.

The design drawing of the material was originally intended to be designed to carve a flower and bird plaque or an enlightenment theme. Because of the thick fog color, we can use the clever carving to carve out the three-dimensional effect of red and white. I decided to carve a statue of Samantabhadra with a full glossy face.

This is the rough finished product, which has not been polished yet. How would you rate the craftsmanship of the master? The deeds of Samantabhadra Guanyin in saving people from suffering and saving all living beings have been passed down from generation to generation, making the image of Guanyin increasingly rich and full. In addition, the Jade Guanyin is the perfect combination of jade and faith.

After polishing, the three-dimensional sense of the whole work is stronger, and the work is more harmonious and beautiful. The material itself has very good water quality and texture, and is full of classical charm. It is matched with the traditional Samantabhadra Guanyin, which complements each other.
