What about floating flower jadeite? The floating flowers of jadeite refer to the distribution of colors different from the base color on the jadeite in the form of silk threads, clumps, or strips. This is because the color-causing ions enter the interior of the jade during the formation process, resulting in a color distribution that is different from the basic color of the jade. The main colors are floating blue flower jade and floating green flower jade.

Generally speaking, "floating flower jadeite" is more valuable than "floating color jadeite", but rare species like "spring color" among floating color jadeite are also extremely valuable, so it still needs to be analyzed in detail.

2. Jadeite's luster and glue

Jadeite luster is an optical phenomenon visible to the naked eye, which usually appears on the interface of colorless ice or glass jadeite. On the face of this jade ring, you can observe a soft white light, which is dim and looks like moonlight at night. This kind of white light is called "fluorescent light" in jargon, and this phenomenon is also called "ying guang".

Although the presence of luster and glue are both indicators of better quality than other jades, the quotes for these two types of jade are higher. However, jadeite with fluorescence will be more popular in the market, while jadeite with glue will give people a slightly inferior feeling, and its price in the market will be slightly lower than that of jadeite with fluorescence.
