How to polish and grind jadeite raw stone?

Today, jade is becoming increasingly powerful in the Chinese market. Many friends who like jade like to participate in gambling. However, although some gamblers know that gambling is jade, they know very little about the peeling and polishing of the rough material of gambling. Today I will introduce to you stone peeling and stone polishing. I hope that friends who like to gamble on stones can learn more about it.

The peeling process of three-color gambling stone raw materials mainly includes the following six steps: peeling, digging out dirt, roughening, fine grinding, coarse polishing and fine polishing.

01Peeling

The so-called peeling refers to the use of small hand movements on an angle grinder to remove the skin of the jade rough stone. At this time, several deep groove-like marks will appear on the rough stone surface. Players don't need to worry too much. Note that this step is easy to get injured. It is recommended to wear goggles, cut-resistant gloves, and noise-proof earplugs; use a hanging grinder or a bench grinder with a hose and a coarse grinding head to remove the skin, but it is time-consuming; using a stone cutter to cut the skin directly is also good, but it is easy to cut off the green.

02 Digging Dirt

After peeling, there will still be a small amount of impurities deeply embedded in the jade, which must be polished off with grinding heads of various shapes. The standard for digging it out is: the dripping water is pure white and the grinding head is difficult to touch.

03Removal of roughness

For peeling and digging, we usually use the last grinding head. Due to the high grinding speed, the next step is to replace the grinding head with a different brand for rough machining.

04Fine grinding

At this time, use a diamond head (white, thinnest) to fine-grind the rough jade surface. As the water droplets flow, you can already see a "golden light" gradually appearing on the surface.

05Rough polishing

Use oil stones or sandpaper of different grades to grind the surface of the jade until you can no longer find any traces on the surface of the jade with your fingers; or use a bench grinder instead of different types of grinding wheels to grind with small diamond powder.

06 Fine polishing

Mix the diamond powder into a paste, find a bamboo stick and dip it in the diamond powder, and rub it back and forth on the surface of the jade. This requires patience and perseverance. When you feel the bamboo starts to slide onto the stone, it means you are close to success.

In addition, you can also use a hanging wheel or a bench grinder plus a hose with a wool wheel, use high-grade diamond powder paste to polish a large area, and then use a wool ball to polish the uneven parts with high-grade diamond powder paste.
