Glass Type

As the name suggests, its clarity and luster are as transparent as glass, and the crystal particles inside are extremely small and dense. It is the best quality jade and can be compared with a glass.

When the glass type meets the imperial green, it becomes the best jadeite. The transparent green can completely blind your eyes.

Ice

The texture of the flesh is second only to the glass type, and its overall feeling is similar to melting ice, partly transparent and partly translucent.

It also has a cooling effect, giving people a cool and refreshing feeling.

In the actual purchasing process, after all, there are only a few friends who have considerable financial strength, so the question of which is more important, type or color, becomes a point of concern for many people. After all, a piece of jade with good quality but no color will not appear luxurious enough; while a piece of jade with good color but no water quality will not be lively enough, so the quality and color complement each other.

Of course, if you buy low-grade jade, don’t think too much about the color. Let me reiterate that I am not saying that color is more important, but that rare things are valuable. Emerald green jade is very rare, and if it is not expensive and is still emerald green, the authenticity cannot be guaranteed (unless it has serious flaws or is very small). In fact, I have always believed that if the water quality and color can be balanced, it would be the best choice. Going to extremes and focusing on one point will inevitably lead to regrets. Just like a fine-grained glutinous jadeite can never become a glass-type one no matter how much you nurture it, a piece of white jadeite is even less likely to grow green when you wear it.

To be precise: what kind of jade you like depends on your own preferences. You cannot blindly choose what others recommend to you. It’s good enough if you really like it. Then you will like it when you wear it.
