How to identify whether jade is processed jade or a mutated one?

Man takes care of jade for three years, and jade takes care of man for a lifetime. Only if we take the time to play with and understand the connotation of jade, can we truly appreciate the true beauty of jade while nurturing it. On the one hand, we can improve the gloss and transparency of jade by playing with it, making it more beautiful and spiritual; on the other hand, the process of touching jade can bring physical and mental health to people and educate their lives.

When faced with "jade variants", how do we know that they are really "variants"? Is there no way? Hahaha, not really. If you want to identify whether this jade is a "mutant", there are methods, as follows:

Fake jade is fake after all, so if it is exposed to the sun for a long time, its color will become ugly;

It will appear purple under the Char filter; it can be seen that the false color is floating on the surface of the jade and does not blend with the jade.

At this time, some people said that the color of natural jade would become ugly if exposed to the sun for a long time. Can this be identified?

Fake is still fake after all. Even if the color of natural jade is not good-looking due to long-term exposure to the sun, it is at least slightly better than fake jade.

If you think the above method is unreliable, then look at this:

Hold the jade up to the light and look inside it. You can see a lot of polishing powder residue in the gaps between the internal structure of the jade. Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to wipe the jade. Fake jade will generally have a discoloration reaction on the cotton swab.

In addition, we can also use ultraviolet light. By placing the jade under the ultraviolet light, we can see the fluorescent reaction.

As for those with film coating, you can observe: natural jade has color roots inside, while fake jade with film coating has no color roots, and the color is distributed more evenly, not as natural as natural jade; or you can remove the green color on the surface by scraping with a knife, burning it with fire, or boiling it in boiling water.

The above are some methods on how to identify the authenticity of jadeite.
