When buying jade, you can’t just look at the color. Only jade with both quality, water and color is worth collecting.

Jade is most valuable when it is green. A one-point difference in color can result in a ten-fold difference in price. Green jade has always been more expensive. When many people choose jade, the first thing they look at is whether the color is green, and they may not choose it unless it is green. Since ancient times, many people have formed the concept that "green is the best quality" for jade. So what is the value of green jadeite?

Color is an important factor in determining the value of jade, which also makes green the noble color among jade. But whether the color of a piece of jade is good or not is not as simple as just looking at whether it has green color. The color of jadeite should be judged comprehensively based on factors such as color distribution area, saturation, and brightness.

Jadeite with high color grade. The color should be rich, that is, the green saturation should be high; the proportion is also critical, the green distribution should be wide and even; the color should also be bright. For example, if the color is gray and dull, or the color accounts for a small proportion, the price will be relatively much lower.

Among jadeite, imperial green is undoubtedly the best color, with extremely pure and rich color. Generally, it can only be mined from old mine materials. It is considered the most expensive color among green jadeite, but it is often hard to come by. In addition, the more expensive one is the full green jadeite that everyone is familiar with. The full green jadeite has a very rich color, but it is also very rare. Among the common green jadeite, apple green, sun green and emerald green jadeite are all high-grade colors.

However, the color and quality of jadeite should be viewed together. A piece of jadeite with color but no quality cannot be considered good jadeite. The quality and color of good quality jadeite should be judged together. For example, glass-type jadeite, even if it is colorless, can cost up to hundreds of thousands of yuan. A piece of bean-type jadeite with a rough base may only cost a few thousand yuan even if it reaches the full green level.

From the market perspective, the prices of Imperial Green and True Yang Green among ice-type jadeite can be as high as hundreds of thousands or more. The prices of Yang Green, Emerald Green and Floating Flower Jadeite with higher ice content can be between tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands. The prices of ice-type jadeite with ordinary colors can range from a few thousand to less than ten thousand yuan.

The price of fine-grained glutinous jadeite with bright green or emerald green color starts from hundreds of thousands yuan; the price of glutinous jadeite with green color distributed in segments or pieces and lower uniformity is tens of thousands of yuan; the price of glutinous jadeite with dark color and sparse distribution is several thousand yuan; and some colorless glutinous jadeite with rough base and large flaws is only a few hundred yuan.

So it is not the case that the price of green jade is high. It must be considered in combination with its water quality, color, craftsmanship and flaws. The valuable green jade is vivid and lively, and it is a pearl in its own right.

Looking at the development history of jade, for hundreds of years, it has almost been a one-man show directed and performed by green, until recent decades, when the quality of jade has opened a new chapter.

The special thing about colorless is that it coexists with glass. Colorless, pure and translucent, icy and flawless, or with a scattered and faint brilliant fluorescence, it quietly moisturizes the softest knot in the heart.

The sensory pleasure brought by the quality of jade has helped colorless glass jade to open up another world, triggered new value orientations, and elevated the status of jade quality to an unprecedented height. After colorless jade became dependent on quality of jade, it seems that it is likely to replace green and become the mainstream of jade.

As time flies, I realize more and more that the green color of emerald from the depths of my soul is an uncured poison that still gnaws at my heart, bringing sweetness and comfort. It turns into an unchanging echo, no longer as calm as calm water, obsessed with the preciousness of green, never hesitating, never wavering.

The supreme green easily digs out a vague gap. People want to embrace it but can only look up due to the price. Colorless takes the opportunity to fill the gap. After comparing and weighing them back and forth, the noble and gorgeous green still smiles in the wind. Any idea of replacing green has proven to be nothing more than a fantasy

After reading so much, which one do you think is more eternal, colorless or green? People who love jade are all "colorful". When buying jade, many people pay attention to the color of jade. As the saying goes in the industry, "experts buy the quality, laymen buy the color."

Experts attach great importance to the quality of jadeite. A good quality jadeite will appear to have a translucent luster, uniform color, and fluorescent appearance, as if it has spirituality.

But laymen pay more attention to the color of jadeite. Blindly pursuing green jade without considering the quality of the jade. In fact, jade with color but no quality looks dry and lifeless, and you will get tired of wearing it for a long time.

Jadeite with color but no quality has very poor quality, and the color looks lifeless and dull. So when buying jade, you can’t just look at the color. High-end jadeite is worthy of collection only if it has both good quality, water and color.
