Teach you a few tricks to quickly identify jadeite

Jade is a jade product that is popular among the public. High-end products are very expensive, which has also driven unscrupulous merchants to pass off inferior products as high-quality ones, or to deceive the public with counterfeit and shoddy products.

When purchasing jade products, please pay attention to the following points to avoid being deceived.

A-goods problem

The concept of A-grade jadeite does not mean that the quality of the piece is A, but only refers to the fact that the piece is made of pure natural, unoptimized ore. This concept is very misleading. Merchants usually guarantee that the products are pure natural A-grade and support national inspection and so on. Then use the next best thing to achieve the best, and use the low to replace the high. What really determines the value of jade is its quality, color, cracks and cotton.

The problem of fakes

Many friends like to shop for goods and find bargains, so they should be careful. Ordinary people can quickly identify jadeite by following the following points without professional knowledge.

First: look at the color. Generally speaking, the color distribution of natural jade is irregular, and the green color tends to extend.

Second: Look at the polished surface. If you observe carefully on the polished surface, you can see slightly transparent to opaque white fibrous crystals.

Third: Listen, the sound of natural jade metal being gently tapped is crisp and pleasant, while the sound of artificially processed jade is dull.

Fourth: Carefully observe whether there are candle pits on the surface of the jade, or use a mobile phone to shine a light to observe whether there are spider web cracks inside. If there are, it can be determined that it is a B-grade jade that has been acid-washed.

Fifth: Use the purple light of a banknote detector to illuminate the jadeite in a dark place and observe whether there is a fluorescent reaction. If there is, it can generally be determined that it is a B+C product.

Sixth: Distinguish between jade and glass. There is a saying in the industry that there is no jade without cotton. Observe whether there is cotton, the state of the cotton, and whether there are bubbles in the internal structure of the jade. Generally, bubbles can be seen in artificial glass.

By doing the above points, you can greatly reduce the possibility of purchasing counterfeit goods.

Finally, I want to tell everyone that shopping for bargains is risky, so it is best to buy from professional and reliable merchants.
