A piece of ice-type snowflake cotton jadeite was carved into a Guanyin plaque. Everyone was amazed when the work came out.

Today I’d like to share with you the production process of a Guanyin plaque! This is a piece of ice-type snowflake cotton with blue flowers. The jade is old and has fine texture. The cotton in the jade will affect the quality and its transparency. The more obvious the cotton is, the more it affects the value. But the snowflake cotton in jade is different. Some materials become more charming because of the presence of snowflake cotton, as if snow is flying all over the sky!

Its characteristic is that it is cottony white and floats inside the jade, scattered here and there. The chance of this happening is very small, so its value is also very high! Let’s start designing. The carving master designed the Guanyin Bodhisattva. Look at the design drawing!

The rest have been carved, and now only the face is left. The face is very clean and is designed to avoid cotton. Look at Guanyin's clothes, the lines are smooth and beautiful. The most important things in carving the Guanyin Buddha figure are clothes, proportion coordination, face carving and the beauty of the limbs, these are all points that need attention!

The meaning of Guanyin: always keep safe, eliminate disasters and difficulties, save all living beings with great compassion, and she is the embodiment of saving people from suffering!

Polishing is completed. After polishing, it looks very icy and has very good transparency. Guanyin stands on the lotus seat gracefully, dignified and generous. The snowflake cotton slowly falls, full of artistic conception. The refreshing and natural blue flowers at the bottom make the overall work more tasteful!

The decorative lines of the clothes are very smooth and gorgeous. They look very three-dimensional, with exquisite carvings and a peaceful look, giving people a feeling of kindness and solemnity! It is extremely rare to grow good and distinctive materials, and things are valuable because they are rare. If you are lucky enough to get a good piece, you must cherish it!
