Jade has recently been sought after and favored by many people. In the field of gemstones, it occupies a certain market. It has also become a target for counterfeiting by illegal vendors. No one wants to spend a lot of money to buy fake products. Today, I will teach you how to distinguish the authenticity of jadeite.

1: Look at the weight. Feel the weight of the jade with your hand. Many fake jades are made of glass, marble, and plastic. Compared with natural jade, their weight is relatively light. Therefore, the heavy one is the real jade.

2: Look at the color roots. The color roots refer to the more concentrated green areas in jade. Green will spread around along the color roots. Under strong light, the surrounding areas will fade or disappear, but the root color will still be green. Artificially processed jade has no color roots.

3: Listen to the sound, tie up the jade with a rope, and then lift it up so that it is suspended in the air. Tap it gently with a stick. If it makes a very crisp sound, it is real jade. If the sound is mixed and noisy, it is fake jade. You can also use two jades to gently knock them together. If you hear a crisp sound, it means it is real.

4: Look at the luster. Look at it under strong light. If there is something cloud-like in the jade, the color is clear and the surface is smooth, then it is real. If the luster is dull and colorless, it is fake. If there are many small bubbles inside the jade, it means it is artificially caused.

5: Use a magnifying glass to look at the cross section. Real jade will have very obvious, irregular short lines on the cut surface. If the cut is still shiny and bright, it is obviously artificially processed.

6. Identification certificate. A real bathroom comes with an identification certificate. Fake jade does not have this.

The most important thing is to have the authentication certificate, read the mark clearly, and ask the seller for an invoice.
