The biggest problem with the material is that it is too cottony and the crystal structure is too coarse, that is, there are too many fly wings visible to the naked eye!

For jadeite of this quality, the best choice is to make a carved piece with more carvings, using complex carved patterns to cover up the white cotton and coarse crystal defects!

After analyzing the material, the jade carving master finally decided to use jadeite to make a round dragon plaque. The design retains the rich green part in the middle of the bracelet core, with only a simple smooth design, using it to represent clouds. A coiled dragon is composed between the clouds, with a dragon ball spitting out from its mouth. The dragon head is mighty and domineering, and the tail appears through the clouds, creating a majestic momentum that can call the wind and rain!

Because the bracelet core is cut in two and is not very thick, shallow relief was used for carving. The image of the Panlong was not conceived as the popular domineering style with a big dragon head, but was ingeniously designed as a more traditional image, coupled with the front frame design that is rarely used now, the Panlong round plaque maintains its thickness while adding a few antique charms.

The finished product is very delicate. The frosted polishing of the dragon's body highlights the layering of the dragon, while the bright polishing of the green part highlights the texture of the jadeite. It is really exquisite and moving!
