If the jadeite raw stone can be made into bracelets, we generally give priority to making bracelets from it. The scraps left after making bracelets are generally angular and very irregular, making it very difficult to make new pieces from such scraps.

Today I’m going to share with you the process of carving a small ornament out of bracelet scraps. Don’t you think it’s a clever way to utilize bracelet scraps?

The circled part in the picture is the jade scraps left over after making the bracelet. The material is glutinous and white all over, with a hint of light purple in some parts. It would be meaningless to cut this scrap into smaller pieces, and it would be impossible to make any valuable small pieces!

However, there is no such thing as waste material in the eyes of jade carving masters. If the material is not suitable for cutting into small pieces, we can use the whole material to create a small ornament. When carving, always remember that as long as you have imagination, there is no subject that cannot be conceived!

The final composition of this jade scrap is a small ornament with magnolia theme. The shape of the material is fully utilized to arrange the posture of the magnolia flower. The light purple part of the jade is cleverly decorated with color, and it is composed into a flower, which is also very ingenious!

After a round of careful carving by the master sculptor, a pure white magnolia flower appears before your eyes. The emerald orchid symbolizes the noble qualities of "elegance", "brightness" and "simplicity", so the orchid is also called the "gentleman among flowers".

Finally, it is paired with a solid wooden base to set off this work. It is really pleasing to the eye!

What seemed like a useless bracelet scrap was transformed into a lovely orchid by the skillful hands of a jade carving master. The jade carving master combined the orchid's pure white and elegant characteristics with the pure white and crack-free characteristics of the jadeite very well, using his imagination and ingeniously utilizing the shape of the material to finally turn it from waste into treasure and create this "gentleman among flowers".
