Point 1: Look at the brightness of the color

Point 2: Look at the fineness of the texture

The texture of natural red jadeite is relatively delicate and round, and the fullness of the quality is better than that of burned red jadeite.

During the heating process, the red jade will lose some of its adsorbed water. After the water head is lost, the texture becomes rough and the transparency decreases. The delicate and round characteristics of red jade are lost, and small cracks will appear on the surface.

Point 3: Look at the color boundary

As mentioned in the previous article, natural red jadeite is mostly the surface of the original stone, which has a mutation relationship with the other original colors of jadeite (white, green, etc.) and has clear boundaries.

The color boundary of burnt red jade is not clear, and it has a gradual transition with other colors.
