The type actually refers to the sad color, the degree of transparency and the degree of structural compactness. To put it more bluntly, it is the most direct criterion for judging the quality of jade.

1. Dragon Stone

Many players believe that the best type of jade should be the glass type, but in fact, above the glass type, there is a type of jade called the dragon stone type. Many players believe that the dragon stone type of jade does not exist at all and only exists in imagination, but in fact, the dragon stone type of jade does exist, it is just very rare. The dragon stone type of jade has no cotton or impurities, very delicate luster, extremely warm, and the fluorescence is very beautiful.

2. Glass Type

6. Anthocyanin

7. Floating flower species

The floating flower variety refers to jadeite with uneven color, with filaments, dots or flocs distributed inside, sometimes with some red or orange floating flowers, so it is called the floating flower variety. 8. Ice glutinous rice

Ice-glutinous jade has fallen out of the category of high-end jade and can be considered mid-range jade at most. It is a type of jade with a water content between ice and glutinous types. Although it has good transparency and water content, there is still some gap between it and the real ice type.

9. Hibiscus

The texture of hibiscus jade is very delicate. Although its purity is not as good as glass and ice types, it is still relatively pure in the jade family. However, its light transmittance is slightly lower, the color is relatively positive, and it looks very elegant.

10. Lotus root starch

11. Black Jade

12. White background blue

White-based green is the most common type of mid-range jadeite. On the white base, there are uneven and irregular green colors, such as sunny green or emerald green. The transparency is also good, and it can barely squeeze into the ranks of mid-range jadeite.

13. Glutinous

When describing jade, if we say "glutinous", it means that the structural crystals of jade are relatively loose, and the texture is not fine or tight enough. Therefore, glutinous jade is a transitional type from mid-range to low-range jade. There are higher-quality glutinous ice types, which are considered mid-range, while some ordinary glutinous types are low-range jade.

14. Bean seeds

The reason why bean-type jade is called bean-type is because the internal structure of bean-type jade is looser than that of glutinous jade. Even with the naked eye you can see the internal structure is arranged one by one like mung beans. Therefore, this kind of jade whose internal arrangement structure can be seen with the naked eye is called bean-type jade. Except for high-quality sugar beans and ice beans, all others are considered low-grade jade.

15. Iron Dragon

Tielongsheng is a kind of jade with poor water content, uneven color distribution and very poor light transmittance. However, the only redeeming feature of Tielongsheng is that it is full green. Generally, there will be no impurities. Therefore, under normal circumstances, Tielongsheng will be cut into thin slices of jade, which makes it look more watery and is considered a low-grade jade.

16. Dry green

Ganqing variety is somewhat similar to Tielongsheng, but Ganqing variety is drier and more astringent than Tielongsheng, and has extremely poor light transmittance. Extreme light cannot penetrate into the interior at all, and the structure is very loose. Poor quality Ganqing variety may even have stone properties.

Seventeen, eighty-three

In the true sense of the word, 83 grade jade is no longer jadeite. In fact, 83 grade jadeite is a companion jade of jadeite. Although it has high transparency, it has a loose structure, coarse crystals and low value. However, because it is similar to jadeite, it is often used to impersonate B-grade jadeite.

18. Lightning Strike

As the name suggests, the thunder-struck type jadeite looks like it has been struck by lightning, with cracks of varying sizes distributed on it. However, in general, the color of the thunder-struck type jadeite is quite good, and there is still a market for making some small ornaments of it. The price is not high, and it can be considered a kind of low-priced jadeite.

19. Oily green

The existence of the Oil Green variety can be considered an anomaly among jadeites, because the Oil Green variety is also divided into high-quality and low-quality ones. The high-quality Oil Green variety has good water content, good quality and color under the light, and is also a good choice for making ring faces. The low-quality Oil Green variety has a dark gray luster, no color, and almost no value.

20. Horse Tooth

The texture of the horse-tooth type of jade is the same as that of horse teeth. It is not translucent, has a rough texture, and has almost no green. It is mostly white or grayish white. Although it has a hint of bluish, it looks very dull. Therefore, the horse-tooth type of jade is considered to be the worst quality jade.
