There is a saying in the jade jargon: “There is water wherever there is a dragon.” Do you understand?

There is a saying in the jade jargon that “there is water wherever there is a dragon”, but many people don’t understand what it means. "Dragon" actually refers to the green color in jade, and "there is water everywhere where the dragon is" means that wherever the green goes, the ground and the water head of jade will be good and complement each other. This is the so-called "there is water everywhere where the dragon is"

Generally speaking, no matter the coarseness of the texture or the transparency, the green parts are better than the parts without green. Sometimes the difference between the green color of jade and its ground is too strong, just like the saying in the jargon, “high green comes from shitty ground”. The ground of jade and the green color of jade are interdependent and have a very close relationship. Generally speaking, if the green water quality is good, the ground will usually not be too bad, and vice versa. Although not every "shitty ground" will have high-grade green, high-grade green can indeed appear in "shitty ground".

Based on these characteristics of "water everywhere in the dragon", we can also distinguish natural jade from dyed jade: in natural jade, as long as the green part is, the transparency is often better than the surrounding white part, and the degree of fineness and roundness will be higher; on the contrary, dyed jade C or injected dyed jade (B+C) is the opposite, the transparency and fineness of the green and white parts are basically the same; even B+C jade, because the white part has a loose structure, it is the part that is most susceptible to acid corrosion and glue injection, the transparency of the white part is better than the green part, and the green part will appear less delicate and rough, which is obviously different from natural jade.
