During the observation process, by rotating the finished jade product, look for the presence of "jade quality" in the form of star-shaped, line-shaped, or flake-shaped flashes on the surface of the jade under natural light or light.

Linear and flaky sparkling jadeite minerals often appear in jadeite with a granular fibrous interwoven structure and are usually easier to observe. The finer the jade particles, the harder it is to observe the jade properties. At this time, you can use a 10x magnifying glass to observe it. In addition, if the cleavage planes of the jadeite minerals in jade are distributed in clusters or veins, they are called "stone flowers" and "stone brains" respectively.

2. Color

Jade has rich and colorful colors that other jades do not have, so when looking at the color, you should not only look at the color tone, but also pay attention to the combination and distribution of colors. If the color shows a natural transition, it is basically natural jade. If the color looks very harsh, unnatural, and has no transition, it is usually fake jade.

3. Gloss

The luster of jadeite is glass luster, oily luster or glass luster with oily luster. Jadeite with good transparency is clear and translucent, which is a quality not found in other jades. Most of the fake jadeite with dull luster are B-grade or C-grade jadeite, or are not jadeite at all, but are counterfeit with other types of jade.

4. Slippery feeling

Jade has a dense structure and high hardness, and its surface is very smooth after polishing.
