Learn in three minutes! Teach you how to easily identify real and fake jade

Jade on the market can be divided into four types: A, B, C, and D. The so-called A grade: It is pure natural jade, which has only been carved and polished, without any chemical dyeing, high temperature and high pressure artificial forgery, and has natural color.

B-grade jadeite: It is taken from the English word Bathe, which means to wash. It refers to the process of soaking, corroding and dissolving impurities and stains in low-quality natural jade with strong acid to make it visually clear and transparent. The structure of jadeite after acid etching is loose, and it is necessary to use the vacuum negative pressure method to inject transparent resin into it. The jadeite processed by this method is almost the same as high-end jadeite after polishing. The easiest way to identify B-grade jadeite is to listen to the sound. Natural A-grade jade has a crisp and translucent sound. The sound of B-grade jadeite is turbid and dull.

C-grade jade is jade that has been artificially dyed. That is, color is added artificially to colorless jade or jade with less attractive colors. This kind of jade is relatively easy to identify. You just need to look at it against the light. The color distribution of dyed jade is along the cracks, which is very unnatural and has no spirituality. The dip dye color will fade over time. This kind of jade is cheap, but it is very harmful to the human body. It cannot be worn close to the body. It is just a decoration. Don't try to get a bargain when buying it.

D-grade jadeite, which is said to be jadeite, is actually not jadeite. Instead, it is a cheap jade that looks very similar to jadeite, such as water jade, Xiuyan jade, jasper, Australian jade, green glass, etc. In fact, no matter how sophisticated the methods of illegal merchants are, fake is still fake after all. As long as everyone carefully identifies and studies hard, they will be able to distinguish the authenticity. The simplest method is to measure the density. As long as you have junior high school math knowledge, know the formula for calculating density, have a glass of water and a scale, you can do it.
