Players all know that only A-grade jade has collection value, and only A-grade jade is pure natural. Many people want to buy A-grade jade, but unexpectedly, after picking and choosing, they only get B-grade jade. After learning the following tricks and looking at more items, I believe you will be able to identify A-grade jadeite at a glance. To identify A-grade jadeite, you need to use your eyes, hands, and ears. Use your ears to listen to the sound of jadeite. Lightly touch two jadeite pieces together. If a crisp sound is heard, it is real, and a dull sound is fake. However, this is a bit risky. Chili Jiang is afraid that you will use too much force and lose two jade bracelets. Therefore, the chili craftsman only talks about relatively safe things, focusing on color, glossiness, and jade quality, which require the use of eyes and hands. The colors of Grade A jadeite can be collectively referred to as "positive" and "negative": Many experts say at first glance that the color of jade is very "positive". What is "positive"? This generally depends on the color roots. The color roots of A-grade jade usually diffuse from the inside to the outside, with clear and distinct outlines; the color roots of B-grade jade are fuzzy and floating; C-grade jade is dyed, and the color roots are not obvious. ▼Color root The transparency of natural jade is uneven. Good jade will have relatively better transparency in the green areas, which is called "water everywhere in the dragon" in the industry. The white areas appear white, but the processed jade has uniform transparency and a sense of color transition. The white areas do not appear pure white, but grayish. Look at the glossiness: There is a very important premise for looking at the glossiness, and this premise can also easily allow the merchant to tell whether you are a novice or a veteran. Many friends get the jade and just look at it repeatedly on their palms without doing anything else. Most of them are novices (except very professional players). The correct way to check the glossiness is to first use a rag to wipe the surface of the jade clean. If you don’t have a rag, you can rub it clean on your clothes. This way you can truly see the glossiness of the jade itself. Otherwise, it will be difficult to distinguish whether it is glass gloss or grease gloss due to interference from external oils. The luster of A-grade jade is bright, round, and has a focal point, while the surface of B-grade jade is rough. What is rough? It means that you want to wipe off the fake oily sheen on the surface with a rag, but you can’t wipe it clean. You have to be careful when you encounter this situation. (The left side is bright and clear, and the reflection point is sharp; the right side has a foggy feeling, and the reflection point is diffuse) (Bracelet comparison: The white part of the A-grade bracelet is white, the green is transparent and has an emerald color, and the ribbon-like part on the right has a crack; the white part of the B-grade bracelet is grayish) Look at the greenness: Fly wings are a major manifestation of jadeite's nature. It will produce reflections under strong light or sunlight, and when you turn it, it will appear as a series of bright spots. These bright spots are called fly wings, which are long and not the same as fly wings. Note: Fly wings can only distinguish the authenticity of jadeite, but cannot distinguish processed jadeite. "Fly wings" may also appear on jadeite B and B+C goods. Therefore, this method is useless to identify A-grade products. B+C quality fly wings When viewed with a high-power magnifying glass, the surface of A-grade jade is smooth and delicate, and you can see slight bumps and grooves on the surface due to differences in hardness of different mineral particles. For A-grade jade with poor quality, grooves caused by poor polishing usually only appear in local areas, especially in concave areas that are difficult to polish. The surface of B-goods is messy, with lines of varying straightness and spider-web-like and tree-branch-like grooves. Due to differences in hardness, the surface has an orange peel-like structure. The B-grade goods have been processed more strongly and have cracks on the surface. The above points are the most direct methods to identify A-grade jadeite. Of course, there are other methods, such as weighing the weight and using a UV lamp. But do you really need to bring a UV lamp to buy jadeite? It's almost enough to bring a magnifying glass and a flashlight. The essence of identifying A-grade jadeite has been received, but we still need to practice more. Practice makes perfect. By looking and touching more, you will be able to identify A-grade jadeite at a glance. There is a saying in the industry: "Outsiders look at the color, insiders look at the type" The general order of insiders: First look at the type, judge the type of jade based on the color, then look at the color transition, then look at the base color, and finally listen to the sound. fcgc66 fcpf18 |
