Come and admire this jade Buddha carved from a piece of jadeite rough stone!

Today I would like to share with you a piece of Houjiang window material, which is of high quality. Everyone knows that Houjiang is more risky because of its many cracks. Let us witness what kind of surprises this stone can bring us from the raw stone to the finished product!

We can see that the texture of this stone is relatively fine. In Houjiang, the saying "fine sand means fine meat, coarse sand means coarse meat" is commonly used, so we can judge that the texture of this stone will be relatively fine.

When turning on the light, we can see that the lighting effect is particularly good and the water head is very long. Although the lighting effect is relatively transparent, we judge that it will be a glutinous bottom. The fruits harvested from Houjiang will change in type and color and will be oily, so they will have the texture of glutinous ice after being harvested.

Start cutting the plate~

Blessed by the goddess of luck, this piece of material has been cut into a glutinous ice texture and the cracking is also very good. This situation is very rare. For Houjiang material, cracking is its difficulty, so it is really lucky to cut it into this effect.

At first, this stone had the shape of a bracelet, but we found that there was still a crack, so we gave up and cut along the crack. Some cotton can be seen on this piece, but the cotton is very thin. It is the cotton that grew along the crack and will disappear if rubbed a little. This kind of cotton does not harm the jade material, so it is harmless. Just now we mentioned that Houjiang will turn over the crops after harvesting. Now we have cut into the glutinous ice, so the harvest may have an icy taste. Let’s see how the harvesting effect is!

Carving

Let’s take a look at the finished product under natural light. This is a decorative piece. The oily feel of the product from Houjiang is really eye-catching and very oily. Friends who look at the picture may feel that it looks more like a glutinous base, but in fact it is a glutinous ice base. This is because the material is quite thick, two centimeters, so the thickness masks the effect of the water quality. The editor feels that the effect would be better if it were made thinner to highlight the water quality.
