Glass is artificially synthesized and has no rarity. It relies on molds to make unlimited copies of the same product in order to earn huge profits. There is no comparison at all. Every piece of jade carving is an artistic creation that embodies infinite effort. Although there are not many works that truly have high artistic aesthetic value, it can be seen that the cultural connotations of jade are the fundamental reason why its price cannot be determined. The same piece of jade, with the same texture, coming from the same raw stone, the value of a carving master and that of an ordinary craftsman is as different as that of a calligraphy beginner and a calligraphy master, both of whom write with a brush.
