Jade carvings are often not simply carving patterns on jade, or carving jade into a certain shape of an object. The themes of jade carvings are all derived from life, but are higher than life. The jade carving master based the owner's idea on the characteristics of the material and finally decided to designate the theme of the jade carving as "Diamond Sutra: Buddhist Words and Zen Heart". The composition is distributed with left and right patterns. A volume of Diamond Sutra is spread out from the left and transitions to the right side of the jadeite. As the background of the jade carving subject, there is no flawless transition between the distant view and the near view, which naturally leads to the closed-eye Buddha statue on the right. Then a wisp of auspicious cloud floats, and only the formless Buddha is seen sitting cross-legged on the lotus seat, meditating quietly.

The pattern is carved in shallow relief and embellished with some ancient patterns of swastikas, making the pendant look unique, full of Buddhist atmosphere and charm!
