Rough jade refers to jade that has been carved into shape but has not yet been polished. Like rough bracelets, it is a semi-finished jade product. The surface of rough jade is like a veil, blurry and rough, making it difficult to see the type, water content, color, cracks, and defects inside. Only after grinding and polishing can its mysterious veil be lifted and its appearance can be seen at a glance.
