Dragon Stone

Dragon stone is also called divine dragon species, dragon species or old dragon stone species. The top-quality dragon stone material is the best part of the whole piece of jade, so it is called dragon stone. Longshi is the top grade type of jadeite, built on the texture of glass, without cotton marks or impurities, as smooth and delicate as silk, extremely warm, and radiating fluorescence, which is icy and cold. The phrase "color blends into the bottom, tone is uniform, and no color roots are visible" is used to describe Longshi jadeite.

Oil green

Oil green jadeite, abbreviated as Oil green or oil soaked, has a transparency and luster that looks oily. It is a low- and medium-grade jadeite that can be found everywhere in the market. It is often used to make pendants, bracelets, and ring faces. The green color of the Youqing variety is obviously impure, containing gray and blue components, so it is dull and not bright enough. Despite this, the Youqing variety of jade has better transparency, is generally translucent, and has a relatively fine structure, and the gaps between the particles are often not visible.

Gold thread

The golden thread type refers to jadeite whose color is distributed in thread-like shapes and arranged parallel to each other. We can clearly see that the green appears intermittently along a certain direction. Of course, the green stripes can be thick or thin. Silk is subdivided into: smooth silk, messy silk, flake silk, black silk, and the best is the green silk with directional arrangement.

Dry green

The sodium chrome pyroxene content of Ganqing jadeite in the general sense is about ten percent, and Ganqing is a sodium chrome pyroxenite rock mainly composed of sodium chrome pyroxene. It is also a type of jadeite rock, but the jadeite content it contains is very low. In other words, Ganqing is a kind of jadeite jadeite rock with a chromium ion content far higher than that of ordinary jadeite or even Tielongsheng jadeite. When the chromium ion content reaches a certain level, jadeite will evolve into sodium chrome pyroxene, also known as "ganqing". At this time, ganqing is no longer jade in the traditional sense.

Tielongsheng

Tielongsheng, like other normal jades, is a kind of jade rock containing jade minerals, but the content of jadeite is different. Tielongsheng jade is a variety of jade. The reason why its color is bright and full green is directly related to the high content of color-causing ions. When observed with the naked eye, its characteristics are bright green with varying shades.

Hibiscus species

The Hibiscus variety is between the glutinous variety and the ice variety, and its color is medium to light green without any yellowish hue. Hibiscus jade is a light green jadeite with no yellow tones. The green is relatively clear and pure. Sometimes the base of hibiscus jadeite is slightly pink. Hibiscus jade is between translucent and sub-translucent, has more moisture, and a finer texture than bean-type jade. The boundaries between the grains are blurred, and no obvious boundaries can be seen, so hibiscus jade gives people a feeling of purity and elegance.

Anthocyanin

The Huaqing variety refers to the distribution of green in jadeite, which can present many different shapes, such as ribbon-like, vein-like, lump-like, cloud-like, spot-like, etc. The base color is light green or other colors.

White background blue

White-based green is a common variety of jade, generally produced from new mines. It is characterized by a fine texture, a white and bright green base color, and sometimes contains impurities. The green of the white-based green jade is brighter, and the larger area of ​​white background makes the white and green clearly distinguishable. The green is in clusters, mostly emerald green to boxwood green. The white-based green jade is opaque to slightly transparent as a whole, and the outline of the jade can be recognized with the naked eye.

Horse tooth breed

The horse-tooth variety is also called "tooth variety". It refers to jade that is green and bright in color, but has poor transparency, small grains and is opaque. It has a porcelain-like texture and coarse mineral crystal grains. The crystal outline can be discerned with the naked eye. The horse-tooth jade has a white to grayish white base and is mostly green. If you look closely, you will often see very fine white threads in the green, and sometimes clumps of white cotton can be seen. It is a low-end mid-range variety.
