Dislike the ugly ancient jade! Do you know how hard it is to make them?

Jade is the essence of mountains, rivers and land, and jade culture is the product of the perfect combination of national wisdom and the essence of mountains, rivers and land. Our ancestors created a brilliant and long-standing jade culture. It can be said that jade is the soul of China and jadeite is the treasure of China. Do you know that it takes our ancestors a long time to make a piece of jade work?

It requires twelve steps from pounding sand, grinding slurry, opening jade, tying the stone to punching the stone, grinding the stone, hollowing out the stone, applying patterns, and finally drilling, piercing patterns, and drilling holes!

Open jade. To break down large pieces of jade, you need a tool similar to a saw.

Grinding stone. Grind out the details based on the embryo.

Dig out the hall. That means eviscerating. First, you need to drill a hole in the jade, and then use a special wheel to grind away the jade inside bit by bit.

Transparent flowers. That is, relief and hollowing.

Leather ball. Made of cowhide, it is used in the final polishing process of jade.

These processes are done manually step by step. I have to sigh that our ancestors were really great! So, don’t complain that ancient jade works are not exquisite enough every time you see them!

To this day, there are actually not many of these treasures left by our ancestors. Some of them are even lost abroad and have become the wealth of other countries. It is really a pity. However, we can still see their true appearance, which is a blessing in disguise!
