Recording the transformation of ordinary Damakan jadeite into "Peng Cheng Wan Li"

As the saying goes, "If jade is not carved, it will not become a useful object." If the jadeite raw stone is not carved by a jade carving master, it is just a piece of stubborn stone in the world. It is only after people discovered it, uncovered its beauty and endowed it with wonderful humanistic significance that jadeite has become a jade artifact that everyone loves!

This piece of jadeite raw stone from the Damakan mine is just an ordinary piece of stone in the eyes of many people, but in the eyes of jade carving masters, it is a rare creative material!

Use a strong handheld voltage flashlight for observing the internal quality of jade to observe the raw stone. You can see that the light penetrates the entire raw stone evenly. This shows that the base of the raw stone is clean and fresh, and has a very good water quality, which is estimated to be above glutinous ice. The finished products carved out of such materials generally have good starting effects.

After understanding and observing jade, the jade carving master decided to design the composition according to the shape of the original stone, and finally decided to make a hand-held toy with the theme of "A Bright Future": the composition design is a vigorous and powerful eagle soaring over the Great Wall.

The sculpture was completed using a combination of relief, round and openwork techniques, and the unique yellow fog layer of Damakan was cleverly divided into different colors, making the work more colorful. The soaring eagle is treated with a semi-matte polishing process to highlight every detail of the eagle and make it look more majestic. The mountains and rivers of the Great Wall are treated with a bright polishing process to make the yellow fog layer on these parts look more oily and shiny!

The extended Great Wall on the back is used to cleverly carve out the natural cracks in the original stone, while also responding to the composition on the front, making the work a whole from front to back, highlighting the ingenuity of the design!
