A friend sold me a piece of scrap material at a low price. I want to buy it back at the original price after the finished product is completed.

Many jades that appear to be waste materials are perfectly interpreted by carvers and transformed into charming works.

This is a piece of material cut from the original stone. When I saw this material, it felt very much like the wall color of the Dunhuang murals. The texture and water quality on both sides are relatively good. The jade flesh is relatively thin, and the surface has not yet lost sand or skin. There is some water quality in the fleshy part, indicating that I hope to retain the stone skin for creation.

The Guanyin Bodhisattva was designed, with the left side of the jade having a smaller and lower position, so he was made into a meditative monk disciple. Where there is cotton thread, use smoke thread to deal with it.

After polishing the rough piece, prepare for carving.

The face is small, so the carving requirements are very high.

The enlightened disciples expressed their piety and enlightenment by looking up.

No changes were made to other parts. It is a very simple work and has not been polished yet.
