It is non-toxic and harmless, so generally any polished jade will be waxed. Nowadays, nine out of ten jades on the market have been waxed, which is a normal phenomenon.

Therefore, do not try to remove wax from jade. Jade without wax is like having no protective layer and is more vulnerable to damage. Only through the waxing step can the jade be better protected.
